in a search for a method of transferring a line drawing from a print out onto foamcore i went back to an old book of mine where i'd written down the name of a blending marker that dissolves laser toner and allows you to transfer it onto paper.
i found a writing of mine which i realized has the same spirit that i'd like to use with my current work.
odd but real
detailed but incomplete
"he was a little boy but everyone seemed to think he was an adult. i guess his age two years older than it really was. his favorite food is cheese and that is nearly the only thing he eats. quesadillas, grilled cheese, string cheese, orange cheese, melted cheese, cheese and crackers, cheese in cheese, cheese on cheese.
he lives in the mountains with a dog named Lady and a father and a mother who don't live together. in the event that somebody touches his hair he becomes upset and brushes them away because it is too much to handle having so much hair that is so luxuriously curly. for spring break he stays with yolanda, his father's first wife. together he and yolanda and her brother oscar fling cholcolate bunnies and radishes all over the apartment with a monster sling shot. today there are red blotches on the walls and chocolate on the ceiling. there is chocolate on the ceiling, although i'm not sure how much. in the daytime his father and brothers and yolanda talk on the phone to figure out who will pick up his other brother from the airport at 3 except now its at 5 because Ecuador Air delayed his flight. He'll arrive at 5 and his father will pick him up and take him to the mountains too, with his small brother and his curly locks."
(room for inference is key)
